My favorite genre of ttrpg adventure is, “What if a place was fucked up?” Like what if a place was really awful, and gross, and nasty, and had a bunch of nasty little freaks and fucked up little guys? That’s the stuff!

I started playing D&D with 2e, with the First Quest supplement. It was a beginners box and had four included adventures, one of which was a Spelljammer. I thought that was the coolest one and assumed that’s the campaign we’d end up playing. My friends didn’t agree 😢. Anyway, great thread!

I started playing D&D with 2e, with the First Quest supplement. It was a beginners box and had four included adventures, one of which was a Spelljammer. I thought that was the coolest one and assumed that’s the campaign we’d end up playing. My friends didn’t agree 😢. Anyway, great thread!
Just got back from lunch; had some tacos, a Guinness, and a shot and I feel great! Which is to say, my anxiety level is manageable lol. But again so seriously grateful for the amazing supportive friends and family I have. Couldn’t imagine doing it without them.
If there has been a silver lining to any of this (wife’s cancer) it’s that it’s really showed us how supportive and awesome our friends our. And again, big shout out to 5 22-27 year old women I work with who are the kindest people I’ve ever met, and without whom I don’t know how I would’ve gotten by

So far today I forgot a form I needed and had to go back to the office then went back upstairs bc I thought I had forgotten it a 2nd time but didn’t then I left my bag at a client’s house and didn’t realize till I parked then I set a piece of pizza on fire and forgot my gym pass and earbuds 😭😭😭
