Honestly the most fun I've had in cyberpunk settings was with The Black Hack: Cyber-Hacked. It is so simple, but also has a genuinely ingenious hacking system. (I hate hacking systems usually)

One thing that every David Lynch film has in common is that he loved really dense sound design. If you don't have big speakers, it's worth watching any of them with good headphones. There is a *lot* of detail to be heard.

I generally want to respect people's preferences blahblah but I find it unforgivable how many human beings have been taught by religions that this life does not matter and therefore they shouldn't attempt to enjoy it, for fear of jeopardising some nebulous prize.

Do we think the concept of an Afterlife, as posited by most religions over the millennia, was primarily conceived as a means of control, because it convinced believers that actions that were not punished or rewarded in this life would be so after death?

Everyone was focused on how awful that “100 Greatest Comedies” list was. They were right. It was awful.
I’m stuck on the writer referring to Cleavon Little as a “scene stealer” in BLAZING SADDLES.
