I was thinking about the yesteryear way of movies getting eyeballs.
You had months of it being in theater.
Then it went to the 2nd run theater.
It comes out on home video/rental.
Broadcast TV was a major thing that meant a big check.
Then going to movie channels.
Finally, syndication TV.

It didn’t occur to me that it was actually possible to watch Tomorrow’s Joe in the 21st century and not know the ending of it. I thought it was one of those things like Planet of the Apes, Soylent Green, The Crying Game etc. where the ending is the ONLY thing people know. The ending is on the cover!
