My game was on the local news!
I'm at the point where the roles have reversed with my 13 year old. Now he's the one talking ME through video game puzzles and I hand HIM the controller when I get to a platforming or boss section that I'm stuck on. It's kind of beautiful.

Drawing pictures is one of the most fun, satisfying, challenging, beautiful things you can do. Making a terrible ugly drawing is so pure and gorgeous and human and I can't believe anyone would let a robot pretend to do that for them.

Energy over accuracy every time. Drawing gives you the power to dig deeper than the mere appearance of a thing and convey its ESSENCE through the myriad of choices you make when creating.
The search for accuracy, especially in anatomy, is just a race to the bottom where all you get is stiff figures and mathematical looking backgrounds. Completely soulless drawing.

Really wanted to dig in deep on the layers and textures for that midcentury pre-separated art look. Working on a new Gift for the Perils & Princesses TTRPG called “Glimmering Allure” a full on, deeply charming sparkle princess. Bits of Cinderella, Aurora, Giselle and Buttercup.

I think I’m a decent enough game designer, ok writer, and serviceable game master. I’m an experienced artist and visual designer. The skill I’m really confident in, is assembling all of the above to cultivate immaculate, evocative vibes. I’m a certified vibe-smith. A high-level vibe-mancer.
