Five Tiers of RPG Publishing
Hasbro’s annual earnings came out this week, so I took a look. It is truly staggering how much Wizards of the Coast has changed the company since they were acquired; when looking at unadjusted earnings the Wizards of the Coast and Digital Games division was the only one that turned a profit in the entire company. Not only that, but Wizards is responsible for roughly 47% of the entire company’s revenue and over 90% of all revenue growth over the last year.

Appreciate the solidarity! Thank you.
It's been such a long process of printing, shipping, setting up the webstore (this one is mostly my partner tbh) that I've detached so much from the work.
I have so much self doubt now.

Been working on the webstore for physical copies of Kala Mandala, hoping to launch in the next few days but the anxiety from doing this has been so paralyzing (which is real bad, cos there is so much to be done urgh).

The project centered on a young boy who embarks on an emotional journey into a fantastical realm of Thai spirits, hoping to find a cure for his illness.

A co-worker lent me his copy of Empire Galactique, a French TTRPG from the early 80s.
The art is crazy (and there's a lot of it!), the layout is almost non-existent, character creation is interesting but has a lot of math. Reading it is a wild time!

For the past few years, I've been wondering if maybe we should applaud unremarkable too? There is so much shittiness that maybe just not letting things get worse is okay for now.
And yes, I am a huge pessimist. :/
