Renewing my harmful addiction, I guess.

Dems don’t lose votes to Republicans. They lose votes to themselves. Stop tearing down the party from the inside.

When I was younger I would listen to Rush or Hannity, and joke that I was “keeping an eye on the opposition.” I would find myself yelling at the radio in the car so I stopped bc it was bad for me.
MMFA took that idea, and did it at scale, and broke the brains of some really talented journalists.

The subtext in JD Vance asking for "patience" on the economy: When leaders stop talking about current conditions and jump straight to rosy forecasts, they’re signaling the present isn’t defensible. That’s your cue to scrutinize the numbers, not just the narrative.

Soooo, help me out here. Can someone who made their entire personality screaming Gen0cide Joe and Killer Kamala list out what you are doing about this? I mean this is POTUS directing murder.
Protests? Chants? Closing bridges / freeways? Occupying buildings? Voter suppression? No? Nothin'?
Strange.

I never really had a Christmas dinner tradition until late college/adulthood when my friend Max started hosting an annual get together at his house for all of us theater kids who’s parents didn’t know we smoked, and 90% of the party was cramming 50 ppl into the 10’x4’ patio chain smoking.
it fascinates me how most everyone in the U.S. does turkey for Thanksgiving, but we are all over the map as to what we eat for Christmas (as is proper for a hugely diverse nation).

I come from a Christmas prime rib roast family, myself.
I also use the bacon method. Although turkey is Christmas dinner where I come from.

Incredibly brave to post this on the “AI is worse than the holocaust” website.
I’m sure I’m gonna get dragged for this, but I think AI is bad. AI has completely ruined Google search and it’s created a lot more slop that needs to be avoided on the Internet.

transitioning your gender is great. that can involve any number of things, from name change to medical procedures to none of that

if you become convinced that you cannot be masculine or feminine, and define yourself by the negation of one (or both) of these things, you will become a monster

my own take here: there's a class of posters in The Trans Community™️ who are very committed to the idea that trans people will never be accepted by normies, that only hate and betrayal awaits us in the normal world--
Felt the need to share my journal entry today. Don't know why. Here it is, make of it what you will.

Using your trans friends as a cudgel to score fake internet points is real fuckin gross
Every day it becomes harder for my trans friends to get the care they need explicitly because Dems did jack shit while in office and now Republicans are free to push all the anti-trans laws they want, so don't fucking tell me that "democrats have done a lot actually," because they've done *nothing.*

I love how Will makes a pretty straightforward non controversial statement and weird fuckin assholes can’t help but act like lunatics.
Guys, I promise there are lots of place in America where it's perfectly legal to build dwellings that aren't single-family homes. This is a weird urbanist myth. Lots of non-SFH housing gets built! That's good, we should build more, but it hasn't exactly ended demand for detached suburban units.
Will do you have any data to support this argument? You keep saying “people want to live in X” when X is the only type of home that’s *legal to build*

Of course most people will opt in to the type of home that is the only option!

This is the correct way to look at it.

Half of GOP strategy is to depress Dem turnout.
with this continuing to spiral. There is no win for trump but voters going from its trump and the gop's fault to a pox on both your houses with high propensity voters is helpful to the GOP wanting to blunt their problems in the mid terms. Continuing only risks the narrative becoming that with

Jill wants to make sure that poor families can’t eat in winter.
Just a friendly reminder that Hillary's VP candidate just sold out the country to a bunch of starvation/death sadists and Chelsea Clinton was best friends with Ivanka for years while Ghislaine Maxwell was a prominent guest at Chelsea's wedding while Bill went to Epstein Island a bunch of times

Every Obama guy thinks that working for a once in a lifetime political talent makes them fucking geniuses.
Hey just a reminder that it only takes 23 Senate Democrats to remove and replace Chuck Schumer as minority leader. They don't do it because the majority of Senate Democrats approve of the way he does politics.

The major sports leagues made half a billion dollars off of sports betting in 2024. Who fucking cares if two pitchers fucked with their pitch counts.

As long as the leagues are going to make money off of gambling who gives a fuck if the players reap a tiny fraction of that benefit?
If convicted on all charges, the pitchers face up to 65 years in prison.

According to the indictment, Clase’s conspirators totaled more than $400,000 in winnings. Ortiz’s totaled more than $60,000.
Guardians’ Emmanuel Clase, Luis Ortiz indicted on charges linked to illegal sports betting
Ortiz was arrested Sunday in Boston and will appear in court Monday. Clase was not in custody as of early Sunday afternoon.
