First of all, I apologize on behalf of the United States. We are being held hostage by a bunch of fascists.

Second of all, please help us. Thank you.

The @washingtonpost.com ending its Books section is so sad. My first book was reviewed there, and while the review was by far the least positive one that book got, I cherished it because its my local paper and I’ve always dreamed of having a book reviewed there. I was hopeful about this one.

Women who took their spouses’ last names (& others with name changes) could get around the birth certificate problem if they have passports. But not everyone has one. And getting one takes time & $$$. The GOP’s bill doesn’t even offer to cover the expense, making it equivalent to a poll tax.
The GOP’s new Voter Suppression bill, the so-called “SAVE Act,” would disenfranchise many of the 69 million women who took their husbands’ last names, as explained in my summary.

It proposes *no penalties* for erroneous voter purges but potential *prison time* for erroneous registrations. WTF?! 1/

"Democracy Dies In Darkness" was actually the corporate mission statement
If Jeff Bezos could afford to spend $75 million on the Melania movie & $500 million for a yacht to sail off to his $55 million wedding to give his wife a $5 million ring, please don't tell me he needed to fire one-third of the Washington Post staff.

Democracy dies in oligarchy.

There is a huge amount of new information in the new Epstein files, but so much of what people are passing around as astounding and new is in old #OpDeathEaters threads from ten plus years ago. Imagine what would’ve been avoided if this had all been publicly investigated in 2014.
The objective of #OpDeathEaters is an independent, international, victim-led tribunal and inquiry into trafficking and paedosadist industry.

Look around at everyone you’ve ever heard of, everyone with media profiles, great career success, institutional credit, any idea that went unquestioned and unchallenged. You were fed those ideas and people by networks like Epstein's. You have to undo everything. #OpDeathEaters

So it appears that NYer is quoting from a Facebook post? I'd be curious to see if he would submit to an actual interview

(not sure I agree that this "pulsed with anguish" ... but importantly it bears zero insight, hindsight, analysis. Very thoughts & prayers)
