Whenever you mention that there are prominent Dems and prominent GOP both entangled with Trump and Epstein, hate bots show up. Just like Twitter of old.

Even if the Senate voted to extend ACA subsidies, the GOP-controlled House is unlikely to allow a vote on them.
And there's of course no guarantee that Trump would even go along with a deal.
The cruel irony is that this will end up hurting Republican states the most.

Democrats were overwhelmingly united on their shutdown demands.
Americans understood that Trump and Republicans were to blame.
Voters made it known last Tuesday that they'll elect leaders who stand up to Trump.
Democrats held the cards — and folded for no reason.

You can’t win elections by losing negotiations.
On Tuesday voters showed the fuck up in an off year, after a brutal year fighting prevent the worst abuses of power.
And Dems in Congress take that gift, that sacrifice, and are poised to secure zero policy wins based on it.
Feckless losers.

The people were on our side. We were building momentum to help save our democracy. We could have won - the premium increase notices were just starting.
And giving in now will embolden him. Things will likely get worse.
