In the run up to the Manchester election, Starmer's position seemed shaky, probably the only reason no-one had challenged him was timing - the election this month.

Then Sarwar blundered in - with the result the Labour party rallied around Starmer.

The Law of Unintended Consequences.
Sarwar called upon Starmer to resign for his closeness to #EpsteinFiles implicated Mandelson - Sarwar somehow forgetting he posted words of praise for Mandelson and even posed for pictures with him.

Ghislaine Maxwell said she is willing to absolve Donald Trump of wrongdoing in exchange for clemency - how could she actually absolve him of anything without being able to provide evidence.

Sounds more like a deal not reveal anything incriminating in exchange for being given clemency.

If Starmer does get forced from power due to the #EpsteinFiles, it will ultimately be his fault for not keeping Mandelson at arm's length.

Yet it would be absolutely insane that he's indirectly forced from power while Trump stays in power unaffected by it all.
it will really be something if the Epstein Files unseat a British Prime Minster who isn't in them, and not the American President who was Epstein's best friend.

I'm not usually a fan of elected politicians taking drugs but Starmer could probably actually do with taking some.
He's never been more upbeat and confident in his life.

This is just weird - looks like intelligence reports must have been downplayed or ignored.

Mandelson, from the time he rose to prominence in the 1990s, was known as the "Prince of Darkness" - for what was then assumed to be shady and underhand dealings he was involved in.
