Something that’s so important we acknowledge is that Donald Trump is the pettiest, most vain, most selfish, most venal, most racist, smallest human the world has ever seen.

I mean that totally literally.

I will only ever vote for politicians who promise to prosecute all these monsters.
ICE ended up returning the man, Saly, after realizing he’s a fucking US citizen with no criminal record, per his sister-in-law. These fucking animals.

1️⃣ He didn't say that.
2️⃣ He said it, but you misunderstood him.
3️⃣ He said what you understood, but he was just trolling.
4️⃣ He was serious but he's just negotiating, not going to do it.
5️⃣ He's going to do it for grand strategy reasons I've invented.
6️⃣ Look what you liberals made him do.

Deeply important to understand that Trump never jokes. All of this stuff that started as a joke and then became real was never a joke. He always says what he wants to do and people SAY it's a joke because they're too callow to acknowledge that he's the most ignorant, vicious person alive.

This is exactly right. The white kids and adults I know who know the true history of the United States and Colonialism don't feel bad or guilty; they feel angry, in community with their peers of other races, and empowered to push for change. Enlightened white people are dangerous to the hegemony.
This is my song. “Those are the real stakes — not white children feeling guilty, but white children armed with truth, history and a righteous desire to work with others to change the world.”

For weeks, I was watching LibsofTikTok and the rest of the right-wing internet post some of the most insane shit I've ever seen about the Minnesota Somali community. "Inciting a pogrom" is the only way I can describe the tone of it. I really do feel like that propaganda has been rejected now
ICE and MAGA really did bet the farm on all of Minneapolis’s white people going “oh yes, please take away our disgusting, evil non-white-foreigner neighbors, oh thank you so much.”

it’s beautiful that they’ve been proven incredibly wrong about that - may the rest of the country do the same.

Please buy Oregon!
More than 200,000 Danish citizens have signed a petition to buy California as a response to Trump’s attempt to take Greenland.

They say they will provide Californians with “rule of law, universal health care, fact-based politics, and a lifetime supply of Danish pastries.”

Normally I’m staunchly opposed to people shining lasers at aircraft, because it endangers so many people on the ground and is just so risky, but honestly, this might be the one time I have pause…

Another example of Trump seeing loyalty as something he demands of others, but never something he gives.
“For the families of Danish soldiers who died in the American-led campaign against the Taliban, their country’s partnership with the United States is not an abstraction. Denmark’s loyalty to America brought Sophia Bruun to Afghanistan, and it ended her life.”
“We have done so much for America”: Denmark fought alongside the U.S. in Afghanistan. Now, as Trump eyes Greenland, the families of fallen soldiers have a message for him, @isaacstanleybecker.bsky.social reports:

What an evil little piece of shit that guy is. Always longed to be the bully, now he thinks he’s the big tough guy.
Miller: Denmark is a tiny country with a tiny economy and a tiny military. They cannot defend Greenland… Under every understanding of law that has existed about territorial control for 500 years, to control a territory you have to be able to defend a territory…

you know this guy is a FOR REAL photographer because he's telling the story of his brutal, unconditional arrest by federal goons and can't help but slip in a gear review
Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.
