I think this is unfair to turkey. turkey is good but hard to cook well because it is so damn big. turkey *parts* are great but lack the esthetic appeal of a centerpiece bird.
it is tired to the point of cliche to say if turkey was good, people would make it more than once a year. but it is understated that at least one American explodes every Thanksgiving in a brave attempt to make the main dish more palatable

I think it was the SA moderation team that taught me the phrase "trying to outsmart the rules is against the rules" and I carry it with me anywhere I have to maintain order or decorum
Also, please employ a vibe check clause, if you have explicit rules the worst people will game the system and get as close to the limit without crossing the line. Make sure to kick those fuckers out too.
Reminded by a conversation in a community that I'm part of: If you're forming or moderating a large social group, you NEED to have explicit and accessible policies around harassment and abuse. Social compact is absolutely not enough.

The crime of genocide didn't exist until after WW2. It was something we decided was real, needed to be identified and punished. Even if we've been spectacularly bad at putting it in practise, we conceptualised it.
