I have just had an Instagram ad for a podcast where five people explain their polycule, and previously I wouldn’t have thought there was enough content there to sustain a series, but now I’ve tried to schedule Warhammer games in my forties…

Every time I see another one of these Jeff’s Nonce Club emails I just can’t get over the way these freaks seem to think spaces and ellipses are the only punctuation.

Sat through a candidate for the most awkward meeting of my career today. Spicy given the competition includes:

- the one where I made someone redundant
- the one about the surreal homophobic choral medley
- the one where the CEO told a rambling anecdote about his friend’s very weighty penis

One thing I’m politically sick of - although perhaps it was always this way - is precision crisis kremlinology. Edge of the seat hoping this whole mess nobbles the Labour right, but doesn’t fuck things hard enough for an election. I’d so much rather be bored.

I’d vote for this.
New Policy announcement:

We're going to abolish the DfT, and replace it with the Office for MOAR TRAINS based in York, and a much smaller Office of Other Transport Bits based in Ludlow.

Really hope this is a fun Wandavision type situation, not a gritty Arrival type deal.

Seriously though if you take a job at a company called "Palantir" you don't then get suddenly develop moral concerns.

It's like builders of secret volcano bases being shocked at the client list.

God imagine doing something so fucking terrible you manage to piss off people who are willing to work for Palantir
SCOOP: Tensions at Palantir have grown in recent weeks over the company's work with ICE.

On Friday, CEO Alex Karp tried to calm concerns in an hourlong video that offered few specifics—instead offering NDAs to workers who want to understand how it's empowering ICE.

I ask the same question about Cambridge Grindr in freshers week.
How is it that every single male Olympic figure skater, regardless of nation, has exactly the same pretty-boy face?

We just flat out do not examine this kind of statement enough, which is how “protecting [routinely patronised demographic]” gets to be the Trojan horse for oppression.
Even if you don’t like “pornography” or think kids shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near “pornography,” consider that the people with power to legislate what that MEANS have a very different definition than you do
