An unlabeled, 12-second video from the most recent DOJ Jeffrey Epstein files drop is circulating social media, purporting to show Epstein’s suicide in his prison cell.

But it’s actually a fake clip from 2019. Here’s how it wound up in the latest Epstein files dump.

This is 404 Media's @jasonkoebler.bsky.social waving at himself through a Flock camera; one of 60 we learned was left exposed to the open internet. Not only could anyone with a link livestream it, but some admin portals were open with no login credentials required.

AI has to be good at everything to justify the price point:

Otherwise it’s mid tier automation that costs an exponential amount.

Which means it’s simply non viable.
I am highlighting a bunch of examples of people genuinely trying to use LLMs and genuinely not finding them very useful to illustrate that this really isn’t just a “rabid AI haters who’ve never actually tried it” conversation
Yes, this is exactly what happened to me. I lost more time checking and verifying than doing it myself, so I quit

This is the act of someone who believes he will never suffer consequences.

I’m afraid to say in the event somehow Trump is removed from power; some form of vindictiveness will be required as an object lesson
Trump has just added this vindictive plaque below Obama’s White House portrait and it bears all the childish pettiness and chaotic capitalisation of his 4am Truth Social rants.

Jim Ratcliffe’s company Ineos gets £120m govt subsidy to help save the UK’s last ethylene plant at Grangemouth.

Ratcliffe is worth $14.7bn (£11bn). Can he not invest? Will he be back for more?

Govt is not taking any equity stake. £120m is not repayable.

Watched Mickey 17 last night & found it quirky but enjoyable. It’s heavy handed on the satire & it felt like Ruffalo was somehow not given enough depth to his main villain but good bit of nonsense nonetheless.

Pattinson is increasing in my estimation each time I see him

Thing that amuses me:

The Nintendo switch 2 launch was muttered about as a failure -

It has in fact moved 10.3 million units world wide in 2025.

Meanwhile Meta AI glasses have shifted around 2 million units globally since 2023 & are lauded as a great success.

Regular every day nice thing post:

My local council is doing a really good job of keeping the gutters & streets clear of leaves ahead of what’s likely to be a wet & windy winter; thus preventing flooding everywhere in a flood prone area.

Reigate & Banstead area.

This is fucking grim. Somebody invented a white guy, an "IT professional" named Edward Crabtree, who stopped the Bondi shooting and spread it all over the internet, which was picked up by AI agents and slop aggregation sites.

The real hero is a fruit stand owner named Ahmed el Ahmed.

You know how people used to refer to places like Indonesia as “kleptocracies” right?

It’s more than reasonable now to refer to America as a kleptocracy.

The American state is being ransacked wholesale now by its dominant political class.

Nakedly so.
