A personified AI agent submitted a github PR to matplotlib. The project maintainers closed the issue, then the AI (really, the developer controlling it) published a blog post on "its" blog accusing the project maintainers of discrimination, then the LLM (again, the developer) had to issue an apology

It’s definitely not Arrival, because in that people tangentially related to the US government are capable of empathy.

I think it’s right that Schitt’s Creek ended when it did but it does mean we’re denied an episode where David gets AI psychosis from an off-brand ChatGPT, and that’s a real loss.

according to a pediatric ER doctor my wife follows on Instagram they have started to see children coming in sick because their parents are asking ChatGPT what the correct dosage is on over the counter medication instead of just looking at the instructions on the bottle
One of the easiest ways to shoot down the idea that "AI" is an expert is to show how it deals with something people know about.
