What would it be like if you woke up autistic? It would be a lot like what happens to Sophia in JUST AS REAL. She discovers she is accidentally trapped in an alternate reality full of horrible noises & strange people she has a hard time understanding. How can she adapt?

The job search is horrible for just about everyone but a huge chunk of the entire gaming industry lost their jobs and no one is investing in studios.

There literally aren't jobs. They're not coming back for a long time. Gaming isn't a viable career at the moment, and we need to internalize that.

Ettin is genuinely one of the funniest writers I know and has a TTRPG designer and DM's insight into the world of campaigns. I've been enjoying samples of this for a while. Can't wait to devour the entire thing. Check it out!
My first light novel is available now! CRINGE WIZARD is an isekai tale about a guy who gets reborn as a quest NPC in the terrible TTRPG campaign he ran as a teenager.

This reminds me of when I had a mild crush on a Bangladeshi and had to peek at a map to make sure I remembered where Bangladesh was (I did).
American understanding of geography and stuff:

Asia means East Asia
Pakistan is in the Middle East
India is neither but instead is its own thing, there’s a billion people there they get special status
Unclear what Bangladesh is, unsure if it’s even real
Indonesia is the Philippines

Listen, when disabled/chronically ill people tell you about how they're going through stuff related to their illness/disability, please don't tell them to quit their jobs/lives and give up on life. You're telling them they're too weak or unable to be a part of this world, that really doesn't help

It's such a weird and offensive thing to me, as an autistic person, to hear that someone would rather NOT give their child a vaccine than risk that child...come down with? Autism. And I have relatives who believe this shit! Who know that I AM AUTISTIC! I'm talking sisters! A niece! It's insulting.

It's weird as a biologist to say "ignore the science part" but here we are

Science: Vaccines don't cause autism.

BUT IT DOESN'T MATTER. If vaccines caused autism I would still recommend them. Dying of preventable disease is bad. Autism isn't a disease and most of the "bad" of autism is society.

#TimeTravelAuthors 19. At first I was going to write that Joaquín is almost perfectly honest, but then I realized while Joaquín would never tell you a lie or cheat when playing a game, he's an expert at not telling people things, and that can sometimes mean lying by omission.
