Stop using “I’m autistic” to justify your bullying and abuse of others.

Use that beloved “autistic sense of honesty” to be straight up about what you are.

Autistic burnout is pervasive, long-term (3+ months) exhaustion, loss of function, and reduced tolerance to stimulus. It's described as being the result of chronic life stress and a mismatch of expectations and abilities without adequate supports.

More nope on #ProfoundAutism: An Autistic person’s ALS was only diagnosed a couple of months before they died, as their symptoms of progressive muscle weakness & associated disability were assumed to be 'challenging behavior' due to being 'severely Autistic.'

The "support training" in the OAP include workshops, 1:1 consultations & groups meant to teach parents about #autism & ways they can support their child

Granted I don't know her son's needs but I do worry when I see parents say they're "not relevant"
