California should pass a law to clean up #AB2097, which removed most minimum parking mandates near transit. UCLA's Amy Lee, A. Millard-Ball and M. Manville have given us a road map for how to do that. Basically, put the "expansive interpretations" in this table into law.

the president has destroyed the east wing of the white house without so much as a word of input from anyone else to build a royal ballroom paid for with bribes
NEW: After The Washington Post reported Monday on the demolition of the "East Wing facade," a new picture obtained by Law Dork that was taken on Tuesday shows that a substantial portion of the entirety of the East Wing has been demolished.

Russ Vought isn’t really a bureaucrat, he’s an anti-constitutional criminal seizing a bunch of unlawful powers to conduct economic warfare against hundreds of millions of Americans because they live in states that voted against his patron.
Next move from OMB - canceling $8 billion in clean energy funds. You will note, all of the projects are in states led by Democrats

Other networks have fired people, including very recently, for saying things that don’t come anywhere close to this level of violence and inhumanity.

But this is Fox News. So it’s entirely possible he was told to say it, to test the reaction and continue the normalization of the monstrous.
In a shocking on-air moment, a “Fox and Friends” co-host said homeless people suffering from mental health issues who refuse help should be killed

#NIH is hanging by a thread. The #CDC has been decimated. #RFK Jr. and Russell #Vought are psychopaths--I don't say this frivolously--they are cold, calculating, inflicting violence on millions through public policy. It is where we are right now. These men are not normal. 1/

4+ years ago, WeHo approved protected bike lanes on Fountain. Current timeline doesn’t have them installed until late 2026.

Yesterday, another life was lost in yet another hit & run.

We can’t wait until next year to save lives; get it in the ground NOW!

This vote means that every single senator who voted yes is personally responsible for all of the consequences of this bill, because they alone could've stopped it. Let's not forget that.
The Senate has officially passed the MAGA murder budget 51-50. Collins, Tillis, Paul join Dems on the no side.

This now goes back to the House, where the HFC is as usual making ugly noises. Rules Committee will meet this afternoon, which will give us an early look at what (if anything( they mean.
Quick stakes reminder: with the exception of the health insurance losses being kept at 16-17 million and the gender-affirming care ban being dropped, this is all still true.

We call it the MAGA Murder Budget because it's gonna kill jobs, industries, freedom, and a lot of people.

To put it another way, it takes the approach of actively penalizing the technologies of the 21st century and subsidizing the technologies of the 19th century. As solar, batteries, and electrification are rapidly adopted by the rest of the world, we are stepping backwards.

We are seeing a very clear pattern of banning things that make Trumpists and their kids feel bad:

- Books about colonialism, slavery and segregation
- Challenging ideas about gender
- Protests against genocide
- Science generally

It's a blanket ban on hard feelings. They called us snowflakes.

UPDATE: ICE is wildly unconcerned about where this man is and no one will tell me, his registered attorney. The universal answer so far is "let's wait and see where he ends up." This is deeply off.

We would have more rights at this point if UPS had lost a pair of shoes I'd just bought from Zappos
My detained client was scheduled for a bond hearing this AM in a MA immigration court. He wasn't brought in, and he and his case have disappeared.

I then received this notice of activity on a nonexistent docket in which his name was changed to "N/A"

It's all happening a lot faster than I expected

This is obviously terrible and we’ll all be dealing with the wreckage for the rest of our lives.

But I hope Dems remember this the next time they’re in power. The scale, scope, and pace of what we’re witnessing can be about building things, too.
