Hey Molls. Here are a couple of things I read recently, which you may find helpful. I don't think there's an easy playbook of "just do this," but a toolkit of principles:
wagingnonviolence.org/2024/11/10-t...
wagingnonviolence.org/2024/11/10-t...
10 ways to be prepared and grounded now that Trump has won
The key to taking effective action if Trump wins is to avoid perpetuating his goals of fear, isolation, exhaustion and disorientation.
wagingnonviolence.org
Just reupping this on my main page so I can make it my new pin. For everyone who is ready to move past grief & into the rightful anger that will power us to stand against the worst to come in meaningful ways:

Today I wrote about Zohran Mamdani's historic win, the energizing power of holding to shared principles of decency, and a taxonomy of the endlessly intertwined relationship between shame and vision. www.the-reframe.com/the-extraord...

Winning by creating vision in the positive space of shared standards, and expertly negotiating the negative space of shame.

Every single person in Little Village fighting ICE/BP this week, each one of those people had more courage than the entire party leadership put together. Every single person in the street resisting in LA, Portland, Chicago, they're ALL showing more backbone than useless top tiers of Dem apparatus
I keep seeing regular Americans taking more risks every day to fight tyranny, want, and cynicism than I see from the opposition party, and I imagine many of those regular Americans are asking themselves what the value proposition of such an opposition party is, really

The regime despises poor people, yes. And importantly it does not fear poor people as a political force. It's important to take both of these together to understand what they are doing with SNAP. They do not believe that they will incur lasting political costs for their current actions.

Raked and gathered leaves this morning. Got stung by a hornet. Maybe even the same one I rescued yesterday from inside the house and returned back outside? Wouldn’t that be a crazy mini drama. 🐝

If we want to stop the kidnappings and these agents require anonymity to commit these actions, then we must remove the masks.
So long as we allow masked law enforcement to terrorize people, we cannot be a democracy.

I’ve come to believe that we need to gather considerable forces and a campaign to demand the removal of face masks by ICE, Border Patrol, FBI and police.
It is a practice in conflict with the principles of transparency & accountability that are central to the concept of democracy.

Read this thread. This is what @katmabu.bsky.social was protesting, and why she repeatedly says getting beaten up by ICE outside is nothing compared to the torture and crimes being committed inside Broadview. These thugs must be held to account.
A family friend was telling us about what her husband shared about his experience in Broadview before he was deported back to Mexico. She's been sharing to friends and family because she's just in disbelief & horror what her husband told her. She wasn't able to talk to him until he was in Mexico.

At a minimum what needs to happen is the DHS needs to be pulled apart by the next Dem admin, ICE smashed to atoms and every single person that worked for it should be made completely unemployable in federal government ever again
I’m sure there are other ideas.
I’m sure some of these won’t work.
But I read the (valid) pardon post as I was getting into the shower, had these 6 ideas by time I came out.
There are a LOT of options out there!
And NOW—not 2026 or 2028—is time to debate them and work them out.
