🏆This decision applies only to this specific case in Illinois, not to troop deployments elsewhere. But deployments in other cities are currently tied up in litigation in lower courts, and lower court judges tend to look to these emergency decisions for guidance. 🗽

This is a very astute observation. I hadn't thought about Keith Kellogg, he just disappeared from the scene. It makes perfect sense that Putin would want to fainthearted guy like Witkoff doing the negotiations. 🗽

The U.S. Navy and other 1st world navies generally do not consider big-gun battleships necessary for modern warfare. The last U.S. battleships were fully retired in the early 1990s and now serve as museums. 🗽
