Maybe this is something to bring to the attention of your state insurance commissioner. Aren't we all supposed to be allowed to "free market" this shit? If the insurance isn't paying, they shouldn't have any say in the decision.

They didn't want your MRI to turn up an obvious problem that needed surgery, which would likely exceed your deductible and force them to make a bigger payout. I don't understand how the insurance can be allowed to cancel a procedure you've agreed to pay out of pocket for though. I've done it before.

Is having government funded care why these guys can't understand how insurance operates for everyone else in the country?

Don't most of us pay *usually* more in premiums than we get in care, because of that chance we might get into a serious car accident or a cancer diagnosis? If we didn't there wouldn't be a for profit health insurance system. :P

In our defense, he really does suck. He and Ezra Klein are becoming a vortex of suck in my mind and I can barely tell them apart anymore except that the one is still clearly a gambling addict.

Who ever would have thought just 8 weeks of training and the rigorous requirement to pass open book tests might result in hiring & arming people who intentionally bad at their jobs and a danger to everyone.

What gives you the impression Peter Thiel would ever want to be married? His fake obsession with religion now is just about actively perverting it for social control that benefits billionaires. He suspect he wants nothing more than a parade of bloodboys and fuckboys, & his money will enable that.

Who cares if Republicans double cross them on a healthcare vote… they have restaurants, bars, and some of them probably affairs to get back to. 🙄

I think the ones who capitulated both think they can just go on like everything is normal, AND they hate their normal lives back home, don’t want to spend more time with their families being expected to meet responsibilities, & just prefer being “busy and important” in DC. Eager to get back to that.

And it doesn’t seem like the safety record of the current New Mexico site is actually that good. The people handling the waste ought to know it is still very dangerous to mishandle. A bit early to have this much human error.

You want to send the waste to Finland, great. You want the United States who reelected an actual felon to be president, who seems interested to stay inept, corrupt, authoritarian leader for life… no, I don’t trust that country with nuclear anything to be quite honest. And thats now, not in 300 years
