And have booked my Amtrak ticket for Tuesday. Love to add travel anxiety to moving stress! But at least I managed a downstairs seat so I can pee on the same level where I ride. It's the little things.
Oh yes. Back to square one on Getting Myself To California Next Week. Turns out you can only rent a car without a credit card if you're dropping it off at the same location. So. Bus or train, bus or train. Unless somebody's headed south after Monday? Lol

It's just me. I'm running things. That shouldn't scare me at my age but my mother was extremely, problematically helpful and now she's dead and this is my biggest step yet without her. I won't be alone at the new place. I will be able to be alone but I won't be stranded. It'll be good.
