Big butter and egg woman. Burnt out. Neurofunky. Annoyingly political or annoyingly light-hearted. Everyone gets full human rights without exception or GTFO. Weenie was my sweet jerkface tabby.

And have booked my Amtrak ticket for Tuesday. Love to add travel anxiety to moving stress! But at least I managed a downstairs seat so I can pee on the same level where I ride. It's the little things.
Oh yes. Back to square one on Getting Myself To California Next Week. Turns out you can only rent a car without a credit card if you're dropping it off at the same location. So. Bus or train, bus or train. Unless somebody's headed south after Monday? Lol

America is lacking any kind of social virtue ethics (cf Confucianism) which normalizes the ability to interrupt and contradict the bullshit of the powerful. This top-down authoritarian approach to knowledge formation curses and traps us in a make-believe world, a world of naked emperors.

This is the story of where the United States of America is now: we've accumulated so much financial, military, and cultural power that we can't possibly take responsibility for it all, yet we also refuse to give it up, and resent any suggestion we should... and it's pushing us into naked barbarism.

It's just me. I'm running things. That shouldn't scare me at my age but my mother was extremely, problematically helpful and now she's dead and this is my biggest step yet without her. I won't be alone at the new place. I will be able to be alone but I won't be stranded. It'll be good.

In chapter one of my novel Villager, I described a fictional painting, painted 60+ years ago by a forgotten painter: a psychedelic swirl of moorland landscape, which later became the cover of a fictional psych-folk LP.

"Do you fancy having a go at painting this?" I asked my mum.

So she did...

To be fair, I wouldn't be "happy" to see Bill Clinton fall. I'd be absolutely overjoyed.
99% of Republicans understand nothing about intraleft politics. they’re still saying shit like “you won’t be so happy when BILL CLINTON is implicated will you?”

I am shooting my shot.

I love writing op-eds.

@teenvogue.com was my main outlet, but if there are any others (especially independently ran) that are looking for a contributing writer on race, gender, and the economy, I'd love to work with you.

Signed,

The value of reading history is you know that in 1860 there were abolitionists who were so demoralized that they thought chattel slavery would be permanent. 5 years later those still alive had lived to see its end.

My dream house keeps gaining new features
The house my friend rented for us last weekend was built into the side of a mountain and it had a window looking into a little spring cave, and it had a light you could turn on to see the cave.

¿Por qué no los dos?
Right, these are the two options: Either they tolerated Epstein's eugenics to get to the sex crimes or they tolerated his sex crimes to get to the eugenics
It seems like all of the rich and powerful people around him patronizingly tolerated the race science stuff (“he has such an inquisitive and childlike mind”) in order to get access to his harem of underage sex slaves

Happy Whalesplosion Day to all who celebrate
It’s 12 November, so it’s time to mark the 55th anniversary of the exploding whale of Oregon, an attempt to clear a cetacean carcass from a beach which prompted one reporter to say “The blast blasted blubber beyond all believable bounds”
