When I hear that all federal funding for Minnesota daycares has been suspended, I think about how one of the goals of Project 2025 was to shift funding from daycare to encourage women to stay home, and JD Vance thinks “post-menopausal” relatives exist to take care of kids for free.

I’m sure this decision was thoughtfully deliberated and had nothing to do with Donald losing Minnesota, Tim Walz running as the VP candidate, vocal critic Ilhan Omar serving in the House, the significant Somali population, or the Minneapolis Chief of Police criticizing ICE tactics. 😑
