“I was 8 when 9/11 happened and that’s why I didn’t disclose having sex with my journalistic source” is a heck of a premise
I don’t think any of us are fully prepared for the level of self-pity and absolution that’s going to be in Olivia Nuzzi’s (hilariously titled) “American Canto”

I really do wonder about the kind of man who joins and works alongside snatchers who would absolutely grab him if he was out of “uniform” on the street

Maybe they think they’ll get to be their friends for real if they just smile and nod at the slurs
a new genre of photo in the last year is federal agents working for ICE pointing guns directly at photographers

Go on TV and lie as smarmily as possible, they’ll still take it and never push back

American media is so fucking embarrassing

HASSETT: We're comfortable that inflation has come way down

QUINTANILLA: Even though it's been increasing for 5 straight months?

HASSETT: Well I guess there's ups and downs and seasonals

No one will ever sum up Bari Weiss's career more succinctly than "what's the point of standards"
“Standards will be eliminated or severely cut back. Bari has told people that she wants to get rid of standards and is shocked that they have so much power. She asks ‘What’s the point of standards?’

This man is supposed to be economically knowledgeable and he’s on TV saying 50 year mortgages are “a good idea”
QUINTANILLA: What's more likely -- a $2,000 tariff rebate check or a 50 year mortgage?

HASSETT: They're both really good ideas

The armed goons hunting people in our streets have feelings too guys 😢
From the outside it might look like ICE officers wear masks to avoid accountability, but in reality they are a way to avoid accountability.

“I’ve been hearing that standards will be eliminated or severely cut back. Bari has told people that she wants to get rid of standards and is shocked that they have so much power. She also asked openly, ‘What’s the point of standards?’” one CBS source said.

13) I think Dem leadership still suffers from frame drag. They think it's the 90s. Trump is dismantling the powers of Congress. They have to rise to that moment and demand big things.

Vought is expanding the playing field to thinks off the table. Dems need to do the same.

at this point history will look back more fondly on the speaker of the house that got caught sucking off middle schoolers in a locker room
MoveOn, Indivisible, Our Revolution, and 6 Democrats have called on Chuck Schumer to step aside as leader.

So we asked all 40 Democratic senators who didn’t cave to Republicans if they still think Schumer is the right leader.

Here's what they said.

Furious Liberals Call for Schumer to Step Aside, Senate Dems Mostly Quiet
After their shutdown surrender, liberal lawmakers are begging their base to unite behind them anyway – as Trumpland celebrates that their opposition is a bunch of 'p*ssies.'

INGRAHAM: Is a 50 year mortgage really a good idea?

TRUMP: It's not even a big deal. You go from 40 to 50 years. All it means is you pay less per month

Heavy metal toxicity issues aside, my issue with vapes is the e waste. Such an absurd amount of needless waste when there are plenty of reusable/refillable options
The number of people I see vaping indoors is truly mind blowing to me. Sorry is this is too puritanical but I don’t think that being that addicted to anything is good, even if it’s more healthy than smoking.
humbly proposing that vape pens are quietly one of the most evil inventions in the past 25 years and that everyone involved should be tried at the hague

Exactly right

If all of it was to extract a concession and your concession is something that everyone knows means nothing then it really was just a giant waste of time and needless suffering
I heard from a bunch of federal employees last night and this morning. They aren't happy.

"I would rather be an actual pawn. At least pawn sacrifices are calculated and achieve something. All this for a fucking meaningless vote."
