I'm not sure the author of this piece ever worked a service job before, because getting the authority to say "get the fuck out right now" to a visitor that's annoying the shit out of people is one of the rare joys of a service job
The general theme of this commentary is "stop asking MN companies to ban ICE from their properties." The argument is that enforcing the ban would fall to individual low-paid employees, who would be placed in danger.

I’m physically following them around using my government name telling them to arrest me and they haven’t bothered to arrest me. Also half the US Attorney’s office here in MN just resigned! They do not have a case and they do not have manpower, but their only tool is trying to be menacing.

I think the whole notion that your job should control both your healthcare and your security in retirement is the problem
A job should just be a job that just gives you a paycheck. Healthcare and pensions should both rightfully be government managed because neither should be turned into a profit
