Couldn’t imagine a more perfect Chanukkah gift!

Now we welcome in Kwanzaa. Lord knows we could use some Umoja/unity. Happy Kwanzaa to my friends who celebrate!

I love that the French word for pillow is, essentially, “where you put your ear.”

Adult people: Show me what you got for Christmas that made you squeal like a toddler!

A friend got me a print of the Mizpah arch that used to be at Denver Union Station. (Hebrew for lookout/watchtower)

Adapted to civilian life, but says “Roger that” when I ask him to take out the recycling. Still looks great in his uniform.

I was a CBS News intern in 1999 at 48 Hours. We occasionally looked across the street in awe at the 60 Minutes offices. One time I got to drop off an envelope there and hoped I’d run into Lesley Stahl. (I didn’t.) Felt that same sense of reverence watching the scuttled piece (after the revulsion).

Spiked ’60 Minutes’ Segment Spreads Online After Canadian TV Network Posts Unedited Episode
CBS had pulled the segment, but the original version of the newsmagazine apparently aired in Canada.

The only time I ever interrupted my mother watching 60 Minutes was the Sunday in college I came out to her and I still regret not waiting an hour.

Thing I just learned!

If you drive like an a$$#0L3 in Colorado and get fined, some of your money flows to a Brain Injury Network under the Colorado Department of Human Services. Crashes are obviously a leading cause of TBI.
