One habit I have that really sets some teeth on edge is that I don't take notes for anything.
Every book I've written has had zero notes taken either before or during.
If I write something down, my dumb brain forgets it and ignores it because it now exists.
This will bite me at some point.

I'd say the experiment was a smashing success. It's a Coy Hall story so it has loads of atmosphere and teasing hints of a complex world. The protagonist has the resilience of Conan the Barbarian and the ruthlessness of Donald Hamilton's Matt Helm. I won't be surprised if we see him ride again.
