Never stop hating her.

There's no right or wrong way to write, but there sure as heck are right and wrong ways to approach the craft and anyone who says you "need" to outline is approaching with a mind closed tight.

No reader will ever know if a book was plotted or pantsed. They'll just read.

Holy shi...

There is more colored lighting in these two pictures than in ten video games from 1999. 😲

I find writers who can piece together stories from scraps of scenes from all over the narrative fascinating and I wish I could do that, but for me, I can't. I need to go in the order the plot dictates.

I also can't take notes. If it's not in my head, I'm not thinking about it. This is maybe a flaw.

It's like the "Me" people get in public versus the "Me" my friends get in the bar. 🤣

It's staggering how GOOD that first film is.

Don't get me wrong, I like the sequels, but they are mindless boom-epics with less depth than the average Bruno Mattei flick. But that first one?

It's got depth and a message and it is freaking wrong how it still resonates almost 45 years later. Damn...

I swear so much more in real life. 🤣

I was just taken aback that such an innocuous word like "damn" would be a swear. I guess it's using 1940s standards. 😆

Ooh, not familiar with this one, but it stars Milian so I know it's gotta be watchable!

It was!

Atmosphere in the 90s meant a giant fricking skull! And we wanted more! And maybe some thrash metal for the music! And definitely a rocket launcher that barfs three rockets at once!

Yes!!!!

...can you tell I'm replaying the Quake series? 😅

I haven't run a game in years, but I am such a sucker for city guides. This one looks great and it's a fantastic length. I'll add it to this weekend's to-buy list!
