Vodka Drunkenski, the Soviet boxer in Nintendo's 1984 arcade game "Super Punch-Out!!" was renamed to "Soda Popinski" for the NES release of "Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!" in 1987, in what many have described as the first instance of "political correctness gone mad".

Notable message from President Zelensky. The USA is clearly putting pressure on Ukraine to hand over more of its land to dictatorial Russia.

Good to see the Ukrainian pushback--but the USA should hang its head in shame.

She was seen pressing her lips and puffing her cheeks as US UN ambassador Mike Waltz praised Washington for ending several wars. The reaction spread quickly online

Athenians famous for practicing restraint and peaceful coexistence throughout the Peloponnesian War.

Sparta also famous for winning the Peloponnesian War through their own efforts. Pure Spartan warrior ethos. No Persian cash at all.

American freedom was purchased by the blood of men far braver and stronger than Elon Musk who crossed oceans for the opportunity to die for a 'multicultural economic zone.'

We are tasked with preserving the freedoms they so dearly purchased and expanding them, if we can, as we can.

Yes. Extended deterrence isn’t.

Relying on French nukes is sillier than relying on U.S. nukes. Remember the French nuclear program exists because they asked, “will any US president sacrifice New York to save Paris?”

Why should anyone believe any French president sacrifices Paris for Warsaw?
Those headlines…. Inimaginable news until recently.

Honestly, this is a perfectly workable Warhammer Fantasy RPG campaign where the players are Bretonnian peasants who fall in with some Imperial bürgermeister for whatever reason.
hear me out: Marxist campaign where the villain is feudalism and capitalism is a historically progressive force on the road to communism
People joke about how certain internet DMs the villain is always capitalism, but also if everyone's running characters that are plucky underdogs against the system it's kind of hard for the villain to not be capitalism.

The Trumpists like to present themselves as defenders of the West.

There is one country fighting against brutality and barbarism, and in defense of everything we cherish about the West: Ukraine.

The Trumpists are hostile to Ukraine.

The Trumpists are betrayers of the West.

Imagine if those who just got hoodwinked out of $30bn by Anthropic instead decided to buy up this 👇🏼 research and recruit researchers to finalize the work and bring these and other vaccines to market?

Imagine if Musk or Bezos spent their billions on something useful for humanity?

Just imagine.
In terms of what cures are being lost:

- Epstein-Barr virus is perhaps the major trigger for multiple sclerosis
- herpes simplex virus causes cold sores, genital herpes, infections in babies, deadly meningitis
- shingles virus causes an intensely painful disease

Actually, Carney could just claim the Crown, because he was Governor of the Bank of England as direct lineal successor to King.

"They mimic without understanding."

Yes, 100%.
All of this to say, I believe we will win. The regime is flailing around in its hopeless efforts to effectuate their half-baked policy ideas.

They are cosplaying at dictatorship the same way they cosplay at manliness. They mimic without understanding.
It would appear that the administration is experiencing (learning is too strong of a word) something very similar to the governments of people bombed in WW2. That is, that a people under siege tend to have higher collective morale & sense of community during the "war" than those that aren't attacked
