I would love to see political leadership from NORDEFCO -countries (Nordic 5) announcing a months long “long-time” planned exercise in 🇬🇱 (Greenland).

Protection of critical infrastructure & securing political leadership against external attack could be two exercise tracks.

If the US / Trump argues it can and at times must remove people / regimes who’ve supported terrorism, violated human rights, suppressed democracy etc… then presumably Russia, Saudi -princes, Iran are all ‘fair game’?

Tämä on hyvä esimerkki siitä, miten vihreää siirtymää EI tule edistää. Ja kaivoksia EI tule perustaa luonnonsuojelualueille.

The outrageous sanctioning of EU lawmakers and citizens in order to pressure democratically-elected European governments to change their laws shows just how intent the US government is on controlling Europeans' lives.

We must go into 2026 with eyes open.
The US can destroy a European's life with the swipe of a pen
This week's US sanctions against European lawmakers and privacy activists is a major escalation. And it shows the dangers of Europe relying on American economic infrastructure.

Imagine if serving in government was as prestigious as landing a job at Google.

In Finland and Singapore, it basically is. Public service is seen as a privilege, a place where the most ambitious people go to solve the biggest problems.

That’s the culture we should be striving for.

1) they can be extremely difficult to evict, and
2) they will murder, rape and loot those left behind.

There is a strong argument to not believe anything Tucker Carlson says.

However, I cannot immediately think of a reason why he would lie here, about this: Trump initiating/announcing a war against Venezuela.
Tucker Carlson: “Members of Congress were briefed yesterday that a war is coming, and it’ll be announced in the address to the nation tonight at 9 o’clock by the President… A member of Congress told me that this morning.”

Trump: "Venezuela is completely surrounded by the largest Armada ever assembled ... It will only get bigger, and the shock to them will be like nothing they have ever seen before — Until such time as they return to the USA all of the Oil, Land, and other Assets that they previously stole from us."

Trumpin kabinettipäällikkö on näköjään lähdössä (ihan vaan allaolevien sitaattien perusteella).
