I do not want my well-being to depend on these emails being real and damaging. Whether they are or aren't, we already know the truth about Trump and the pathway forward is the same regardless.
Putting some psychological distance between myself and the email drop. It feels too convenient that we have email after email saying "Hi, I'm notorious sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein. Trump is even worse than me and Clinton did nothing wrong."
Not saying it's fake, just very convenient.

Alot of this is at the core of why settlers dissent against changing "traditions". It's not solely because of "cowboys and Indians". It's because these representations conferred on Natives reinforce larger co-victimization narratives embraced by genociders.
Alot of the "well meaning" "left" doesn't realize they still foster sympathetic relation with bigots because they share similar co-victimization appeals as it relates to settler colonialism.
But again this is why I've already explained 50 million times why Natives use broken treaties as metonymy and that's different from other co-victimization appeals.
