I feel real bad for Grasshopper Manufacture. There's the Lollipop Chainsaw remake whose developer says there'll be "no DEI" in the game. Then there's the Let it Die sequel that's jammed up with AI. They have nothing to do with/no input on either game. This is what happens when you don't own your IP!

Adult art calls for adult responses, and tbh that includes an awareness that some personal discomfort/wariness for challenging pieces may stem from irl experience with traumas explored in the material, not pearl-clutching prudishness.
