This all barely scratches the surface of why there is a divide between anarchists and Chomsky, but I hope it's illustrative. The bigger picture here, of course, is that Chomsky has been a willing tool of the kind of power he has historically claimed to oppose for years.

Epstein met with Chomsky more than once, usually with disgraced sex pest Lawrence Krauss in tow. Chomsky's responses to the inane and brain-dead questions often posed by Epstein were friendly. Chomsky was in touch with Epstein until right before the latter man died in prison.

And so there was a small part of me that thought, "hey. maybe Epstein emailed Chomsky once or twice, got amiable responses, and then assumed that Chomsky was in the bag for him." But that isn't the case. The emails we've seen clearly show that Chomsky and his wife Valeria were friendly with Epstein.
