Erica Stanford:

In addition to ensuring wealthy foreigners from US, China, Iran, Saudi, Russia etc can get residency without staying here, we are also going to deliver a favourable tax carve out for them so they don't have to pay taxes they can't "afford" #NZPolitics #nzpol

As we bear down on the election here in Aotearoa in 9 months(!), the anxiety surrounding the prospect of another 3 years of this cruel and antagonistic government is palpable.
Take time to switch off from social media. Find groups to support and organise around. Despair is easy. Look after yourself!

Serious question: what's the Labour party going to do? The Sallies have been resolute, the main Opposition party needs to be, too.

I'll be attending the Feb 17 meeting.
The #SalvationArmy is resolutely speaking up on behalf of growing number of kids and families that are hungry or homeless.
Their State of the Nation report is a must-read. But we must do more than just read it.

Old fashioned tasting Moorpark Apricot jam & pate done. Small batch of apricot chutney to go.

Apricots are low in pectin. 1st batch a bit runny, 2nd batch added Hansell’s Jam setting product, subbed lemon juice for water, firmer & quicker to make.
