Please, every news outlet, stop using the word "deportation" when it comes to ICE's activities. Deportation is a legal process, they're kidnapping people and holding them illegally. Your terminology is normalizing what they're doing.

No one should have to face such threats.

It would’ve been nice if Greene had realized this before she amplified and endorsed calls for executing Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama.

Having a deportation system that relies on alleged "criminal" conduct turns out to be a bad idea in a county where there are an infinite number of "crimes." It was also a choice made in 1996.

The right thinks the left will fight to protect Bill Clinton. The actual left thinks the middle will fight to protect Bill Clinton. But I want to believe — tonight as winter creeps closer, and even the tiniest glimmer of hope is impossibly precious — that nobody would protect Bill Clinton.

along with the heinous literal crimes i think a lot about how there's a kind of moral, national crime in subjecting all of us to this, to this consuming our politics, committed against us by a number of powerful and connected people up to and including the president
