We cannot ignore how shockingly abnormal it is for a private citizen — who himself has contracts with the federal government — to dispatch a private army of executives, data experts and recent high schoolers to dictate policies to federal agencies. www.democracydocket.com/opinion/elon...

tuberculosis outbreaks in Kansas, North Carolina & Ohio.

CDC aren’t permitted to update the public & people are not being advised of the risk or told to mask.

There’s evidence that COVID causes immune system damage which could lead TB to reactivate.

A respirator prevents both Covid & TB. Mask up!
North Carolina tuberculosis cases are on the rise for the first time in decades

Well, for what it's worth, someone at EEOC turned this page back on after someone foolishly thought they could take down the guidance about EEO compliance without HR managers having a heart attack.

My app which replaced something my mom used to do for me proves I am a super genius who deserves to be emperor.

The thing that gets me is how historically ignorant they are. Saw one screenshot of one crowing that Musk was the first person to decide to go to treasury where money is.

this is the "merit" two-step. first, you strongly imply or state outright that the presence of anyone who isn't a straight, able-bodied white man is unfair "DEI," then you argue that just because an institution is all-male and lily-white doesn't mean there is discrimination. that's just merit!
Opinion | DEI and Disparate Impact
The next step in restoring meritocracy is to reject the theory that proportionate outcomes equal fairness.

NCMEC isn't just about missing kids, they run a hash sharing platform so social media companies can share hashes of child sexual abuse materials (CSAM) and do proactive take downs of content once it's been identified.

Defunding NCMEC will encourage the spread of CSAM online.

Evil, evil shit.
New — The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) was told this week by DOJ that they'd lose their funding if the org didn't remove any mentions of LGBTQIA+ issues from their public materials, I've learned. Staff were told they need to deadname trans kids in their reports to comply.

Pandemics do not begin with official announcements.

They start with quiet deletions, missing reports, and assurances that there is "no cause for concern."

Disturbing ties between Kash Patel and SHEIN — a PRC company implicated in forced labor in Xinjiang. He has millions in shares and won’t divest.

Especially concerning amid reports that DOJ/FBI is going to reduce focus on PRC influence efforts in the US.

TLDR: Patel is reportedly (1) on SHEIN’s payroll, (2) appears to have concealed or understated these relationships, (3) *won’t divest while being FBI director* and (4) supports cutting efforts to counter PRC influence.
