So I know nothing about "Eat Pray Love," but I found myself doing a cursory search about author.
I was not ready to learn about Elizabeth Gilbert, who left her husband for a woman w/pancreatic cancer whom she got hooked on drugs, tried to murder, and then got consent from her GHOST to write about.

Ugh. A student got caught wearing/using Meta glasses during a final. And that is despite the professor making an explicit prohibition after the midterms. In addition to the cheating problem we have to watch for, I worry that disabled students will be asked to have their assistive devices checked now

Yes, if you're always hysterical, if you have one glib answer for everything ("He has dementia," "He's a Russian asset," etc), you'll sound silly and people will stop listening. But looking at 2015-25, the "This is REALLY BAD" journos were right 90% of the time. The "calm down" crew? Mostly wrong.

Where do I get better regional news on stuff like this? My news intake is heavily biased to events in Anglophone countries, not regional neighbours.

IMO, it raises the question of how useful are executives?

Kids are so weird. I was in the pool during my 2yo lesson last week and another little kid just stepped off the ledge into the deeper water and obviously I scooped them up because the teacher was maybe 2m meters away, but kid didn’t even seem to notice?
