It's so good that the AI push is just obviously about turning everyone in the world into Sims for the ultra-rich to boss around. They keep pushing it into everything like "soon we're gonna make it so you can fire a bunch of people and they can't make a living off of their skills"

This has gotta break soon right. Like... not even just "this is inconveniencing me a lot", which it is. But like, shifting your entire business on a dime like this... this isn't how things work. It can't be a real thing undergirding that demand, there's a flim flam going on.

Our portable solar panel that we got last year is slowly degrading and we need a new one to make sure we can run a fan for our dogs during the AZ heat, but we don't have it in our budget. Can we help us get some power again for us and the pups?

The problem with people who do this is that you're yelling at us as if we're the ones who control the votes you need. The people you're losing by doing this shit aren't us. There are lots of other people who you don't get to yell at but who are thinking the same shit. How are you reaching them?

there is an employment crisis among trans women and there always has been, but good luck getting people to see it
Still living this life after almost 8 months. A professional I know who works almost exclusively with trans people said almost all of them are unemployed.

One thing that's funny to me about the Hasan thing is that Gavin Newsom is awful. So contingent on this question is the idea that Democrats decided to nominate the worst (realistic) person currently declared, which doesn't make it sound like we're in a good place to start with.

It's somewhat distressing the frequency that people will like show you a thing and go "see you're arguing against yourself" and you look at it and they aren't, that isn't true. You're not arguing actual things happening, you're like vibe arguing. It's very strange.
