Honestly. Whenever I hear someone claim that Socialism doesn't work, or is somehow worse than the Capitalist system that's choking us to death, I know that I can safely disregard anything else they have to say.

Their voice becomes that of an adult in a Peanuts special, though, which is always fun.

This is true, in the sense that it is a web of very real scandals reactionaries will try to claim are fake through the power of repetitive bare assertion

Can’t believe the whole country has to suffer through the return of Dickensian childhood diseases because the worst, most ignorant attention-demanders decided other people’s expertise makes them feel bad

The Geiers were famous for using Lupron (a medical castration drug) on autistic boys to “ take the wolf out” as they put it in a long -vanished article that used to be on the NYT website. Vile and evil men.
The study in question was conducted by anti-vaxxers David Geier, who Kennedy hired to study vaccines and autism, and his father, Mark.

Neither one has a medical license. Mark is a former physician but his son, David, is not.

Both were disciplined for practicing medicine without a license in MD.

There were 92,400 Lego cutlasses inside the shipping container that fell off the Tokio Express back in 1997. This one was found in August by Laura Dale on a beach near Newquay some 28 years after it plummeted into the ocean.

For thirty years I worked in the post-Soviet successor states in Central Asia and observed over and over again precisely the cycle that Bill Kristol describes. Corruption leads to authoritarianism, directly. The path is utterly predictable.

Where would they be getting the money…also, I don’t think it’s illegal for foreign nationals to buy property in the US.

How else would Trump have been able to sell those apartments to Russians?

I wrote about how if social media posting is Trump's art form, yesterday's post on the Epstein Files was his Magnus Opus. I title it: A man in full panic.

If the US system remains trapped in an endless knife fight between a party of good government and a party of nihilistic governance then Europeans need to accept that the US will no longer be a stable partner long after Trump is gone
I'd just like to point out that we spent an entire shipment of air defense interceptors' worth of money on new signs for a name change that isn't even legally the name of the DoD.

Ukraine is currently experiencing rolling blackouts from Russian strikes, btw.
Letterheads and signage alone would quickly run the bill upward of $1 billion, with a full overhaul likely rising to double that amount.

I can't help but notice those accounts whining loudest about "DEMS CAVING AGAIN AS USUAL" are mostly privileged white men, backed up by a bunch of privileged white women.

You know, the people least likely to be affected either way.
Curious.

Can we all just come to terms with the fact that many large accounts on here need the Dems to "fail" to keep their content/engagement/likes up?
They pedal in outrage since their very capitalistic livelihoods depend on it.
Take that into account when listening to them...
