Don't know how long I can just leave it on "okay" when I'm actually... Not great? Don't wanna complain but also my guts still don't work, I've got a tube through my nose to my stomach, an epidural, a catheter and I'm usually hooked up to 2 IVs. And I'm getting antibiotics for CRP 290. #NayeHealth
Surgery yesterday went well! I've got an epidural so am more in discomfort than pain. I spent the night after surgery in post-op, and am now in my single room (I begged for it after ending up in the same double as last year...). I'm very very very tired, and my guts don't work yet, but I'm okay!
Two hours until surgery. Missing these little ones already, after just one night away from home. (Really really hoping I get as short a hospital stay as possible this time, and not a rerun of last year's extended misery!) #NayeHealth

Extremely grateful that there were no emergencies in the past 6 days - I could just relax at home with Skuld and the kitties. Now having my pre-op hospital night, and the big surgery (I'll be out most of the day) is in... 8-9 hours? Let's hope the surgeons do a good job on my guts!
HOME! Until Monday, when I have to come in for surgery prep. And of course unless the guts do the thing again so... 🤞🤞🤞 (I would very much like to have one week with NO emergencies and NO MORE HOSPITAL, but that honestly feels like asking for a lot at this point. #NayeHealth)

We report: a lot of the time, when we think about November during all the other months of the year, it is something like this; that or the rain, but there has not been as much of that so far. In this way, as all our memories match up, we live in all of our Novembers at once.
