Yeah this is the same thing that happened after my surgery last November, and that I feared because - well. It sucks. And yesterday I didn't have enough energy to stay awake through one of Skuld's two visits, so this is a brief bsky stop taking advantage of the lessened post-barf nausea! #NayeHealth

I really appreciate all the good wishes but I'm not quite at "engage with bsky" levels of health and energy yet. 😔

And my energy levels are "pass out after sitting up for too long". Everyone is lovely - yesterday I even got my hair shampooed with a special shampoo cap by a nurse! But I'm constantly tired, in pain, feeling sick and unable to do anything about any of those things.. Just hanging on. #NayeHealth

Basically: I'm the kind of hospitalized where people are saying I'm "brave" and "resilient" but what it really is is having no choice but to accept what happens bc I can't...not. I'm not allowed food or drink, so constantly thirsty - but at least the nausea keeps me from being hungry? #NayeHealth
