Today marks the 53rd anniversary of Roe v. Wade—a ruling that affirmed women’s right to have control over our own bodies.

Four years ago, a MAGA-influenced Supreme Court overturned it. Women now have fewer rights, and many have died after being denied essential reproductive healthcare.

It’s not that I think a general strike wouldn’t work. I absolutely think a general strike would work. My problem is that you folks want to skip to the end but you get angry and defensive about discussing the road through.

There is no infrastructure in place to initiate, let alone sustain a strike.

An agency can consider and change its mind on an unsettled issue; what it can’t do is then hide this decision from a public relying on a nearly 40 year decision finding otherwise. An agency pretending to judge and jury is a dangerous thing.

National media should really be covering the fact thay every major school, museum, and arts institution in the Twin Cities, and hundreds of local businesses are closed tomorrow to protest federal occupation.

Nothing like this at this scale has happened anywhere in America anytime in living memory.

Congress passed the Taft-Hartley Act in 1947 (over Truman's veto) to make general strikes so incredibly difficult to organize that there hasn't been one since.

That there is a general strike happening in a major US city on such short notice is nothing short of a miracle.

You know what this means, right?

If the snow is above 10” then the other half has to go out and make a Corgi race track for the boys! Let’s hope for a Corgi race track! ❄️🐶
