First thing Skydance did when they bought Paramount was yoink Star Trek merchandising license fees through the roof so everyone who makes licensed Star Trek stuff is reconsidering doing so, now folks who've already bought Star Trek shows on streaming platforms are gonna have to keep an eye out.

To state what should be obvious but I'll bet isn't to everyone who watches this...

This is what the thought process of a racist who cannot possibly allow themselves to think they're a racist looks like. This is how they rationalize their behavior and deflect from cognitive dissonance.
This is an incredibly illuminating video on what we're up against.

The current community mall vibe at the Lloyd is one of the best things that have happened in Portland over the last decade.
If you are a Portlander (OR) please sign the petition at SaveLloyd.com

We’re trying to save this magnificent structure that is home to cool & weird businesses plus a magnificent ice skating rink. It’s one of the few large indoor spaces with free admission to walk during rainy winters & hot summers

re-upping this

On Prime Video there are three versions of "It's a Wonderful Life" available to view: the original black and white version, a HORRID colorized version, and the DEEPLY UPSETTING "Abridged" version. There is no known reason why Prime is still serving the Abridged version.

I already have a Steam Deck, but damn I’m tempted by a pocket-sized device in a Super Famicom colorway that can easily emulate DS/3DS games (I wonder how Kid Icarus: Uprising plays on that thing)
AYN Thor (Batch 2) available to order at AYN ($249-$429 - planned shipping in mid-January) buff.ly/0yAo0Vj #ad

Oh god, I never even thought about how those assholes could’ve been stupid enough to freak out at the only people who could’ve saved them.
I'm going to be an asshole and say if you look up the Donner Party history through an indigenous lens it's less a tragedy and more a story of white colonialists getting what they deserved. Wel mel ti/ washoe oral history says they tried to feed them but they shot at them.
The Donner party tragedy, while obviously a tragedy, also ginned up sympathies for settlers in a time of westward colonialism and genocide of Native Americans.

I miss when pretty much everything I drew was with ballpoint pens, before I went digital.
I sketch almost exclusively in ballpoint pen nowadays, and it's still my medium of choice for plein air studies:

Yep, when I came down with chickenpox in middle school, my pops went out and grabbed as many of these as he could. Says a lot that I don’t remember anything else about those two weeks other than than the ridiculous time I spent with Indy and how much I loved (and still love) my dad.

Y'all probably all already knew that. I'm always the second-last to know.

She's done tons of TV, and other films, but those two are, I think, the only places I've ever seen her. (I own WFRR and watch it regularly.) She's still working at age 80!

Well, she's Dolores in WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT.

The bit where Egg and Lo Pan summon two spectral warriors to duel is just two stunt guys in armor, colored lighting and some kind of over lay on footage of the set and it feels more like a comic book super battle than 99% of major superhero movies from the past 25 years.
