TIL there was a record album in 1969 about the New York Mets featuring the Mets players singing, among them Nolan Ryan and Tom Seaver. (Tug McGraw and Yogi Berra I believe. But Nolan Ryan SINGING?!?)

The truck came a little while ago to to pick up the donation of Dad's clothing and shoes. That's another part of him gone for good, even though I kept a few pieces that have meaning to me. I cried. Still sniffling. I feel like there's something wrong with me, to be this broken. #grief #grieving

Back in the 80s I worked at a hotel where we had a long term resident who we did not know had dementia until we had to go in his room for something and found post-it notes from his son everywhere saying things like "this is the bathroom" and "you are in a hotel".

Yesterday I cleaned off flowerbeds, planted 3 dozen daffodil bulbs.
Today I painted trim around the picture window as well as an old wooden step ladder I'm making a plant rack out of.
I've been trying to keep busy. To not dwell.
It's not helping. I still feel so empty & guilty.
