Always trying to learn before it's too late. Love Classic MST3K, RiffTrax, The Mads. Baseball fan, NJ native, CPTSD survivor, avid gardener, appreciator of old movies. Reposts puns. Tibby the Cat's human. Cherish the exquisite dumpster gravy of life.
Plus a little ginger and ground cloves. Just cinnamon makes for a dull pie.

The hideous over commercialization of what was a commercial to start with is why I stick with March of the Wooden Soldiers and then the local high school rivalry football game.

When Dad was alive, he asked me what Shen Yun was. I told him it was Falun Gong propaganda. "What the hell is Falun Gong?" "It's the Chinese nationalist equivalent of the John Birch Society, except the guy who founded it decided he wanted to be worshipped like a god as well." "...Oh."

I have watched the riff of Fun in Balloonland over 100 times. Every single time I laugh out loud. It is the gift that keeps on giving.

Remember going with my late father to the doctor when he was 92 or so, and the doctor telling him, "At your age, you can eat whatever you want, as long as you get some protein in you." He took his suppliments, drank his Boost, and ate what he wanted. Made it to 96 that way.
