A striking, underappreciated obscurity that belongs on the watchlist of all fans of Christmas horror movies and thrillers. Definitely not the braindead NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET knockoff I was led to believe it would be. The look of the film is particularly memorable--tremendous use of blues and reds.

Will note: this is probably the direct result of workshy Bari Weiss waiting until Friday before a Sunday air date to spike the story. International rebroadcasters probably get the recordings early to vet locally and run through local standards and practices. She forgot and no one told her :)
Oh yeah Global TV (in Canada or by VPN) has the full uncut 60 Minutes story on its 60 Minutes rebroadcast. CBS must have sent them the original tape.

Seriously one of the sources I used was a set of journals that a guy in town had found in his attic when he bought his house. I sat at his dining room table one day and read them.
When we say "no, everything hasn't been digitized," I need you to understand that we really mean is that virtually nothing has been digitized. This is because the realm of primary sources that historians use is incomprehensibly large.
Seems like it's worth posting this one again.
