no i just have this thing called a moral compass where, if i watch a privileged white man in an extreme position of power bring a news crew to film him bragging about and while personally throwing away homeless' people's belongings, i do not want them to be president
I think most (not all) of the "I will never vote for Gavin Newsom" people are communists who are mad that Americans don't like communism and want to destroy the Democratic party out of revenge. They don't care how many elections Republicans win or how many trans people die as long as the Dems fall.

we know this, but a reminder: anytime ICE CBP etc says they’re drawing down their presence in a city, it’s bullshit. whatever their numbers, lawless federal agents remain behind & still cause havoc & kidnap people. Also relocated agents just go somewhere else to destroy lives. Abolish ICE end DHS

since we're having this conversation @ericswalwell.bsky.social, consider that so many women try to get help with their stalkers/threatening exes and all they hear from lawmakers is that nothing can be done unless they are actually harmed. this would be a great opp to introduce a bill to fix that

just an update from when we talked to the reporter: we’ve now successfully connected over 100 families for direct, peer to peer rent adoption. we’ve collected and immediately distributed…a lot.
it is a drop in the bucket, but all of this is. everyone is just doing what they can.

There is about to be a push of claiming Nithya is the progressive champion we need. I’d like to remind folks that she switched up on the grassroots base that got her elected in 2020. She spent most of her initial time in office sucking up to Nury Martinez (saw how that worked out lol). Beware!
I supported Nithya in 2020, many of us did. Our expectations were of someone she is not. I would be cautious of people claiming this is a great sign for “progressives” in LA.

Now we have a large need. A multigenerational household needs $3500 for back rent and Feb. They’ve lost family to abduction and remaining members are unable to work.
