One solid way you can fight back today & everyday is to look out for your neighbor, & not just in theory. If you’re in LA, someone in your building probably needs a mask. Someone living outside probably needs a meal. That person being stopped by the cops needs someone to record what’s happening.

Official Statement from Consul General Israel Bachar regarding the Antisemitic Violent Actions Perpetrated at an Israeli Consulate Event in Los Angeles Yesterday, the Consulate General of Israel to the Pacific Southwest co-hosted a community symposium on public safety at the Audrey Irmas Pavilion on the Wilshire Boulevard Temple Campus in collaboration with partner organizations including the Jewish Federation's Community Security Initiative, the Korean American Federation, and FACE-LA. This cross-cultural event on public safety was violently disrupted by antisemitic protestors. The demonstrators initially operated outside the venue blocking both entrances, physically preventing participants from the Jewish and Korean communities from entering the campus. They engaged in hate speech, referring to the attendees as "Zionist scum" and "baby killers," in addition to physically intimidating people by approaching them with megaphones and smoke devices.

Councilmember Katy Yaroslavsky is now joining in on the lies. The event was not a “safety training." It was put on by Israel & featured a speaker from their biggest weapons manufacturer in Elbit Systems. The event took place at the events venue, not the synagogue

Enough with this pathetic bullshit.
Yesterday at Wilshire Boulevard Temple, a safety training with Jewish and Korean American neighbors was interrupted when individuals entered the synagogue, shouted antisemitic slurs, and smashed objects. One person was arrested for vandalism, and another for battery. The event was meant to build connection between Jewish and AAPI communities, two groups often targeted by hate. Instead, it was met with violence, harassment, and vandalism. What happened was completely unacceptable, it was dangerous, and it was antisemitic.

Today, his health has collapsed under the weight of state violence: rapid weight loss, multiple falls, severe mobility issues, and increasing difficulty breathing. He is being held in the McConnell Unit infirmary under so-called palliative care, yet denied real medical treatment, denied diagnosis, and denied access to his own medical records. During his time in the infirmary, prison staff threw away his belongings, "lost" his commissary card, and have intentionally given him incorrect forms to obstruct medical visitations and access to care. Xinachtli is hungry, isolated, and his health is rapidly declining. the state has made it clear that they intend to let him die.
