Take 2: Zohran he has no plans to defund the police. It’s clear his campaign / future office is trying to make inroads with NYPD. He said he would work with NYPD on his big “public safety” plan. Also, in a recent interview, Zohran went on about “preventing so many NYPD officers from leaving”
