We can’t lose sight of the fact that Americans are the most propagandized country on earth, granted, I expect ignorance as default.

But like…he’s been saying he wants to do this out loud in public, they were bombing civilian ships…

This IS business as usual, just without the lies.

My mother was a refugee of the Salvadoran civil war. The Americans backed the fascists that took over the country. Now Salvador is run by a pro yankee crypto dictator who has built the largest concentration camp in the western hemisphere. That, is American intervention.

White people solemnly intoning that WE must be ashamed of what America has become and that this war in Venezuela is the most indefensible thing WE have ever done.

Sit down, Peter.

This country was founded on kidnapping, rape, and genocide. This is who ✌🏾WE✌🏾 have been since this country’s inception.

Both parties have taken part in exactly this kind of behaviour since the end of WWII. It has never stopped. This is just how America does business.

You just ignore it when it’s Dems dropping bombs.
An administration driven by greed, cruelty, and frankly a sort of empty-hearted boredom. The death of innocents so they can beat their chests and line their already fat wallets.

Whatever comes next has to at least look like justice. We cannot just turn the page for the sake of one party’s comfort.
BREAKING: Venezuela’s government has accused the US of launching attacks on civilian and military installations across several states, rejecting what it described as a "military aggression," according to an official statement.

Literally, this is the foundation of our entire society. This country has always been this. It was founded to be this.
Something americans need to understand is that your country has always been a colonial occupation war monster with an endless hunger for new resources and territories that not only has never shied away from mass death but in facts seems to seek it enthusiastically at every turn.

Perhaps now people will stop wishcasting about the US military refusing illegal orders. That's not a thing that happens. The 100% compliance rate with using civilian boats for target practice was a bit of a tell.
