Not in LA, but an excellent and succinct example of how local police like to say they aren’t assisting in federal immigration enforcement, yet they do stuff that assists federal immigration enforcement

A few of minutes ago CPD swooped in on a community caravan that was tailing CBP agents to honk horns and warn neighbors, blocking the caravan from following and giving agents a clean break from scrutiny.

With 7 months left to go in the fiscal year, the City of LA has already spent $90 MILLION or 48% of it's annual liability budget.
At this rate, the City will surpass $200 million in liability payouts (like last two fiscal years). It's a BIG REASON why the City is in bad $ shape.
