We should, but Vance is worse.
We have to impeach him.

Among the many reasons you don’t kidnap a foreign head of state at gunpoint even if you have the capability, is that it sparks consequences you can neither control nor anticipate.

Can’t say I trust the American people much. They elected the guy.
I trust the American people will LOUDLY voice their opposition to this idiotic and plainly illegal venture and that we'll be demonstrating against it, and our cowboy president,, beginning today. This stuff cannot go without being widely condemned.

Im seeing discussions about consultations with congress, authorizations of force etc. I have to say this transcends any of what I would call sub constitutional technicalities. The president has gone to war with a foreign power and, it seems, kidnapped a foreign head of state on the basis of nothing.

One of my questions answered.
Russian Foreign Ministry statement is out and is extremely soft, calls for “prevention of further escalation and to focus on finding a way to advance through dialogue”.

While the Senate is asking Trump why they started a war to kidnap a foreign leader perhaps they might also ask why Trump freed a former foreign leader convicted of the same kind of crimes.

Ce que font les US est littéralement le symétrique de la Russie en Ukraine. Main dans la main, ensemble pour le pire, asinus asinum fricat.
C'est terrible.

Some random thoughts besides the illegality of it all.

1. There's no tactical or strategic logic to it because to the extent Venezuela represents a problem, it is not one that military force can solve.

Recalling when the U.S. sent a helicopter to Port-au-Prince, barged into the presidential palace, told Aristide his life was in danger and he needed to get on the chopper to escape, and then flew him out of the country.
Of course, the results speak for themselves and Haiti is so much better now.

Tonight, the President of the United States has launched an unconstitutional war of aggression, dooming another generation to spill their blood for oil, and lay waste to a sovereign nation.

I demand that Congress exercise its power, halt this conflict, and impeach this war criminal president.

Great. Now the FIFA Peace Prize is meaningless.

Cover reveal. It's about how & why colonies/states controlled international & domestic migration until 1888, why in the late 19th c the feds took over, & what it was like for politically disfavored groups to live under that arrangement of power. You can't understand voluntary migration history 1/

Boggle.
The Constitution never contemplated Supreme Court justices appointed by a fascist and owned by billionaires who overturned decades of established precedent in addition to giving the president nearly total immunity

But-according to John Roberts-everything is perfectly normal

Yes, he’s being serious

A maternity ward doctor donated his own blood during surgery to keep a pregnant patient alive.

One woman gained fewer than 10 pounds over her entire pregnancy.

Another collapsed and had seizures during labor.
