I think they route through classical theism and go from there. Tho how they make the leap to Christianity beats me. Then there’s the Problem of Evil, which they can’t resolve except by appeal to absurdities.

I suppose once theism is accepted the fantastic elements of Christianity become plausible.

Adults convert for all kinds of reasons. I’m guessing a minority logic their way into Christianity and that for most it’s more an emotional process.
